Gutenberg is WordPress’s ‘block editor’ that allows users to edit their content using a range of different blocks that can be added, arranged and rearranged on the post or page in a visually intuitive way.

Many of the blocks that we most commonly use to create content come from WordPress’s core library of blocks, such as paragraph, heading, list, table, image, video, columns, buttons, separator, social icons.

WordPress’s documentation site has extensive and up-to-date information on how to use these blocks. Please note: not every WordPress core block is enabled on the Amnesty WordPress Theme.

Humanity Blocks

As part of the Humanity WordPress Theme, we have designed several bespoke blocks – to help us create the engaging content we need on our sites.
