Background Media Block

About

This blocks allows you to insert a two-column layout. You can images to one or both sides of the layout and then add text over the top of the image.

Adding a Background media block

To add a Background media block, click on the Block Inserter (+). Alternatively, you can type /Background media in a new paragraph and press enter.

Background media block settings

Background colour

After inserting the block, you can start adding content to the left side of the background media block and select the background colour:

Add text

This block will allow you to insert the following blocks within the content area:

• Heading
• Paragraph
• List
• Button(s)

Image settings

Once you’ve added your content, you can insert an image and set the focal point. You can also adjust the opacity of the image.
