The Countdown Timer block allows you to present a dynamic timer that counts down to a specific date & time.
Adding a countdown timer block
To add a countdown timer block, click on the Block Inserter (+). Alternatively, you can type /countdown timer in a new paragraph and press enter.

Time and date
After inserting the block, you need to set a Date and a Time you want to count down to:
Time expired text
You can set the text that you would like to show once the countdown has finished. Enter the text into the ‘time expired text’ field in the block settings:

Timer set to 31st March 2026 at 12:00pm:
If the timer runs out, it will show as expired.
If the timer is due to run out within 23 hours, it will show as hours, minutes & seconds:
