Alan and Gyan pose in front of a yellow painted wall with their mother. Alan and Gyan are both in wheelchairs
Alan and Gyan are Kurds from Syria. They both have Muscular Dystrophy. They left Syria because of the war and are now trapped in a refugee camp in Greece with their mother (in the picture) and two other family members. It’s very difficult for them to live in the camp due to their condition. They have asked to be moved to a more suitable accommodation but have been told that there isn’t.
