The featured image is added in the post settings. Not as a block on the page.
- In the post settings sidebar, click set featured image
- Select the image from the media library
- Fill out the alt text field with a short image description
- Enter the copyright credit into the description field
- Click set featured image to return to your post
- You will see the featured image at the top of the page when you preview or publish the post.
