How to add copyright credit to an image

Copyright credit goes in the description field in the media library.

On amnesty.org we use the Humanity Image Credit Plugin so that any image without a copyright credit is blocked. Instead you will see the yellow candle image:

Adding copyright credit to an image:

1. In the post editor, click on the image to go to the media library
2. Make sure the copyright credit is entered into the ‘description‘ field
3. Click set image

How to use the copyright symbol

Our house style for the format of a copyright credit is to use the copyright symbol ©
